Toms River is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Toms River is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. At just about 52 years old, I never thought I could possibly leave a dealership of any sort, with an overall good feeling about everything that transpired. That happened a week ago when I bought a Polaris ATV over here. From top to bottom this place is great. And it's greatest strength? The people. There is not a single person I met there that I would say is not outstanding. First and foremost, the salesman, and even the owner, actually talked me out of buying a much more expensive ATV than I finally settled on. It's not that they cared to make less money, I'm sure, it's that they cared to see me, a potential customer, get the product best suited for the uses I'd described to them. It didn't end there though. Service department were pleasant, the gentleman who helped with riding accessories, and the guy in finance were all exceptional. I'm terrible with names, so even though I believe I remember each name, I won't say because I don't want to be embarrassed if by chance I get a name wrong. But they all know who they are, and as far as I could see, you can't possibly go wrong dealing with anyone at this place. Thank you Ocean County Powersports!

Brought my bike for service with a reverse not engaging properly. It needed a cable adjustment and although bike was still under factory warranty, that adjustment was't covered. When I dropped it for a first time, technician couldn't duplicate issue. Service manager Rich said they tried throughout the day and it wouldn't happen to them (I found that doubtful since upon pickup I managed to duplicate it on my second try). Showed that right away to the service writer and service manager. Since it was Friday I took the bike for the weekend and brought it back Tuesday afternoon. Whole day Wednesday I had no update, and right before 4pm I received the bill through text for almost $320. Soon after service writer called me and informed that it's ready for pickup. When I questioned the amount he sounded confused. When I came to pick it up I simply said that I agreed to a 1 hour diagnostic when I dropped it off, and anything over that he SHOULD call for approval. Service manager heard the conversation and got a bit rude at that time, they both gave me a lame response that had to try cable adjustment to see if it will work and only charge me half hour more. Rich even mentioned that they will

I met with the Service Manager Rich, who was extremely helpful, I explained the problem that I was having with my bike and he understood my needs. I left thinking that the bike would not be ready for a couple of days that afternoon he called me and told me the bike was all set and that there was no major problems and that I could pick it up once again. I thanked him. He certainly made this easy because of his good attitude and smile. If I need any additional work on my motorcycle, I will certainly go see Rich

I called today to see if I was able to have the tires replaced on my motorcycle. Being Memorial Day was next week I figure I would take my chances. When I was connected to service I asked and kept my fingers crossed. I spoke to Rich he told me to get there as quickly as possible. I was amazed to get a response like that. I rode over and walked in and I introduced myself to Rich. He was pleasant and easy to speak to. I told him I was going to wait. Rich said it was going to take a few hours. I understood that and still excited that I was going to have new tires for my trip next week. Just a great feeling knowing new tread and both balanced tires make such a difference. Why I was there I went and spoke with Bob in parts very knowledgeable and he recommended the tires i purchased. He also recommended a different oil to use in my engine. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly everything went. Before I left I thanked everyone there and blasted up the parkway. Yup I needed tires. Thanks Ocean County Motorsports for getting me in and out and now I feel a lot safer. Great job!!!
